Product Description
Dual Generals Subdue Sha
Qin Qiong (Left Door God): Golden mace splits the air, specializing in repelling tangible sha like trespassers or malicious peeping;
Yuchi Gong (Right Door God): Steel whip cracks the earth, warding off formless afflictions like nightmare oppression or land spirits (地基阴灵);
Cinnabar & Gold Clouds: Crimson base ignites fire virtue to burn away misfortune (焚晦), while gold-sprinkled cloud patterns conceal "celestial soldier array" talismans, projecting a three-meter protective barrier around the doorway.
Contemplation & Heritage
1. Originating from the Tang Dynasty court tradition of "armored night guarding (介胄守夜)" (c. 618–907 YEAR). During installation, burn cypress branches while chanting: "Twin Generals at the gate, all sha returns to dust (双将临门,万煞归尘)".
2. Old posters must be torn down year-end, wrapped in red paper, and burned at crossroads—ashes scattered in flowing water symbolizing "afflictions washed away (厄随波去)". For new homes, the head of household must first brush the door with rice paste to invoke "five grains nourish the dwelling (五谷养宅)" auspice.
